What are the possible complications?

Permanent problems rarely occur; however, potential complications with this procedure include irregularities of contour such as waviness or depressions, numbness or increased sensitivity in the area treated, prolonged swelling of the area treated, asymmetry between the treated sides or changes in the skin color.
